Regular: for persons engaged in HR activities at the professional or managerial level and who devote at least 50% of their time to management and administration of HR functions. Regular members may vote, serve on and chair committees, and hold office.
Associate: for persons outside of the Regular membership category who demonstrate a direct involvement in HR administration. Associate membership is limited to 20% of chapter membership. As an associate member you may vote, serve on chair committees, but may not hold office.
Honorary: for any member in good standing at time of retirement. Honorary members may serve on and chair committees, but may not vote or hold office.
Student: for any student engaged in taking the equivalent of at least six credit hours per term in a degree-seeking program with an interest in HR. Student members do have voting rights and may not hold office.
Transitional: for ASHRM members whom are out of work and need to stay connected to our HR community while they are searching for employment.

Membership Dues:
New member dues are based on a calendar year and adjusted for when the application is submitted. A $25 discount is available for members of the national SHRM organization. Your SHRM membership number must be provided on the application to receive the discount.
